ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.08.2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120B of IPC r/w Section 5 of the TANPID Act in Crime No.22 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner in this case is alleged to have floated fake companies and induced the General public by stating that if they invest in the company it would be repaid as gold more than the value of the invested amount and cheated the General public to the tune of Rs.1,89,94,000/- . The petitioner is arrayed as A7.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 12.08.2021. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the amount involved in the case is a huge amount and the co-accused bail application was dismissed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.20305 of 2021 dated 29.10.2021. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that 219 victims are affected due to the scheme floated by the accused and the huge amount involved in the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 01/11/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
