PRAKASH CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.11334 of 2019 IN CRL RC.678/2019 M.R.NAVEENRAJAPATHY [ PETITIONER ] Vs SAMUDI [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the order passed in Crl.RC.No.678/2019 and Crl.MP.No.9445/2019 dated 15.07.2019 with reference to furnishing of surety of distant relative instead of blood relative.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.MAHANDRAN L., Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- In the order dated 15.07.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.9445 of 2019, this Court suspended the sentence and released the petitioner on bail on certain conditions, one of which is that, one of the sureties must be a blood relative.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he does not have any blood relative. Therefore, the petitioner filed the present petition to modify the above condition.

3. Heard Mr.L.Mahendran, learned counsel for the petitioner. Accepting the submission, the expression 'blood relative' in the order dated 15.07.2019 shall be read as 'relative'. Further period of two weeks time is extended to comply with the order dated 15.07.2019, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. -sd/- 14/08/2019 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
