O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider his representation dated 21.11.2023 seeking not to transfer the patta in the name of the 5th Respondent and to correct the error in a time bound manner.

2. According to the petitioner, he is having 1 acre of land comprised in S.Nos.63/2J and 63/5G situated in V.Chithoor Village, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District. It is the case of the petitioner that 31 1⁄2 cents of land belong to the petitioner was wrongly included in the revenue records in the name of one Alagappan. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 21.11.2023 to the 2nd respondent seeking rectification of the revenue records. The said representation submitted to the 2nd respondent has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/4

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2023 will be considered on its own merit by the 2nd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2023 and pass final orders in accordance with law, after issuing necessary notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed. 20.08.2024 Index : Yes/No Speaking order:Yes/No dm 3/4
