This criminal original petition has been filed seeking the following relief : "to direct the 1st respondent to ensure that the investigation is conducted in a fair and unbiased manner in accordance with law by changing the present Investigation Officer in Crime No.41 of 2013 on the file of Land Grabbing Cell, Kancheepuram transferred on the file of Land Grabbing Cell, Team II, Vepery, Chennai."

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Deputy Commissioner of Police, by proceedings dated 15.10.2016, has transferred the investigation in Kanchepuram District, DCB, Crime No.41 of 2013 from the file of Mr.Aldrin, Inspector of Police to Mrs.M.R.Manjula, Inspector of Police, Team-XXVI, ALGSC-II for further investigation and a copy of the proceedings dated 15.10.2016 has been taken on file.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
