No.678/3A2 at Suryanallur Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2024 in accordance with the law and in terms of the order dated 18.11.2021 made in Civil Appeal No.6961 of 2021 by the Honble Supreme Court of India within such period that may be prescribed by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 05.11.2024 and to direct the 2 nd respondent to pay compensation to the petitioner, who is in the process of laying High tension electrical line through the agricultural land belonging to the petitioner. 2.
Heard Mr.Balaji Thirumoorthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader for 1 st respondent.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the 2 nd respondent is proceeding further to lay high tension electrical lines across the agricultural land belonging to the petitioner and as a result, the petitioner has sustained huge loss. The petitioner submitted a representation before the 1 st respondent seeking for fixation of compensation. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials that has been placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 05.11.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to the 2 nd respondent and a decision shall be taken within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
