W.P.No.22047/15:- Petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 6.12.2014 and pass orders and pass orders and to grant approval and recognition to the Tamil Nadu Police Constabulary Association.

JUDGMENT
(Delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The impugned order dated 13.7.2016, inter alia, is predicated on the ground that no fresh petition could be maintained when an earlier petition filed by the appellant herein has been withdrawn unconditionally, being W.P.No.9827 of 2015, on 7.4.2015. The order of the Division Bench records that after some arguments, the learned counsel for the appellant herein sought to withdraw the petition and made an endorsement https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to that effect. The writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn. No liberty was granted. Thus, the filing of another petition on the same cause before the learned Single Judge, which has resulted in the impugned order, is actually an abuse of the process of the Court and so is the appeal.
The appeal is dismissed. No costs.
