This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent-Police to file a final report in the case in Crime No.732 of 2021 pending on the file of the respondent-Police.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police on instructions submitted that after completion of investigation in Crime No.732 of 2021, charge sheet has been filed before the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai vide E-Filing No.LTN20230001079C202500140.
4. Since the investigation was over and charge sheet has also been filed before the magistrate concerned, the relief sought for by the petitioner in this criminal original petition has become infructuous. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
