.. Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents herein to produce the son of the petitioner, namely, R.Selvam, aged about 24 years, S/o.Ramakrishnan, before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, namely, R.Selvam, aged about 24 years, before this Court and to set him at liberty. 2.

At this stage of the hearing of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondents, had submitted that the son of the petitioner is an accused, in Crime No.72 of 2016, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vandavasi South Police Station, Thiruvannamalai District and that the detenu has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

absconding. A Status Report, dated 11.04.2016, has also been filed to that effect.

In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, we do not find any merit in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
