PRAYER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned Government order in G.O. Ms. no 246 Part VI Section 1 dated 31.05.2025 (Highways) issued by the 1st respondent herein in so far as item 1 and 3 measuring 3053.10 sq. m.in S.F. no 131 and 1881-95 sq.m.in S.f. No 117/1A1 of Panikkampatti Village, palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District belonging to the writ petitioner, and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to consider objections submitted by the writ petitioner with regard to te feasibility of the alternative routes in the matter of construction of link road in Pnikkampatti village to go from Venkitapuram Road to Cochin Fronier Road.

After this writ petition was instituted, pursuant to negotiations, the petitioner has executed a sale deed in favour of the State and the same had been registered on 10.01.2026. In view thereof, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to seek enhanced compensation in accordance with law.
