Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner for appointment of the post of Anganvadi Worker at Alagiri Nagar vacant in the Thiruvarur District, under Thiruvarur Child Development scheme for which the petitioner was called for interview by letter dated 24.08.2017 in proceedings Na.Ka.120/A/2017 within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Anganvadi Worker at Alagiri Nagar vacant in the Thiruvarur District, under Thiruvarur Child Development Scheme for which the petitioner was called for interview by letter dated 24.08.2017 in proceedings Na.Ka.120/A/2017 within a stipulated timeframe. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard the arguments advanced on either side. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was called for interview for the post of Anganvadi Worker at Alagiri Nagar Anganwadi Center and the petitioner also participated in the interview conducted on 30.08.2017, however, no order was passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that in the interview that was conducted on 30.08.2017 no eligible person was available and hence, the selection process was cancelled. He would further submit that if the petitioner is eligible, she may be permitted to participate in the next selection process. 5.In view of the above, the writ petition is closed. The petitioner is granted liberty to participate in the next selection process. No costs.
