ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was employed with one Mr.N.S.Muthu for the past 15 years. There was some dispute between the them with regard to payment of salary, hence, the petitioner started his own business and lodged a complaint against his employer N.S.Muthu, and CSR No.294 of 2021 was assigned, but thereafter, no action taken. He further submitted that the petitioner purchased a property vide Doc.No.2284 of 2017. Now, the said N.S.Muthu is pressurizing the petitioner to settle the property in his name. Hence, he gave a complaint, but no action has been taken. Thereafter, he sent a complaint through registered post on 26.10.2021. Even thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence the above petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioner borrowed a sum of Rs.20 Lakhs from N.S.Muthu and to discharge his liability, he issued a cheque and the same was dishonored. Thereafter a cheating a complaint was lodged by the said N.S.Muthu.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above allegation is raised for the first time. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions, submitted that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on 24.11.2021 and offer his explanation.

5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on 24.11.2021 along with relevant documents and offer his explanation.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
