O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents 1 to 4 to survey his land situated in S.Nos.89/3A1, 89/1C1, 89/1H2, 90/15A, 92/5A1 at Tappakuttai Village, Sankari Taluk, Salem District within a specified time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he applied for survey of the above mentioned land by submitting application on 28.08.2023. It is further stated that he also paid necessary charges for surveying the above mentioned lands. Even after expiry of nine months, the respondents have not taken any steps to survey the property. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court by way of writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2024 for survey of the above mentioned land will be considered on its' merits within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the above position, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
