ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the case and file the final report in Crime No.71 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch Team IX A, Vepery, Chennai-7.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for State.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Cr.No.71 of 2014 was completed and closed as "mistake of fact". RCS notice also has been served on the de facto complainant and the same has been filed before the XI Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai on 14.01.2016. The copy of the closure report is also furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
