This petition has been filed seeking police protection for the petitioner.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has given a representation dated 21.10.2016 by post to the respondent police and has come up with the present petition.

3. In the considered opinion of this court, such a prayer https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cannot be granted in the light of the judgement of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in State of Punjab v. Devinder Pal Singh Bhuller and others, (2011) 14 SCC 770.

4. In the result, this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
