2. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Advocate [crl.side] for respondent.
3. The marriage between the son of petitioners 1 and 2 and de facto complainant stands dissolved under decree of mutual consent passed by II Additional Family Court, Chennai, dated 10.06.2015. A copy of communication addressed to respondent by de facto complainant informing her intent not to further prosecute the case is also produced by learned Government Advocate [crl.side].
In the circumstances, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The proceedings in C.C.No.4553 of 2012 on the file of learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, is quashed. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
