Heard Ms.K.P.Ilavarasi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner has approached this Court for seeking the following relief, "To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the first respondent relating to the impugned order passed by the first respondent vide No.E2/57052/11 dated 20.12.2011 pertaining to rejecting of renewal of permit in respect of the Auto Rickshaw bearing Registration No.TN 03 C 4406 plying https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
in Chennai and to quash the same and to consequently to direct the respondents to renew the contract carriage permit of the above said vehicle. "
3. Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing Ms.K.P.Ilavarasi, learned counsel for the petitioner represented that inspite of her best efforts taken to contact the petitioner, she was unable to get any instructions from the petitioner with regard to the writ petition and therefore, submitted that this writ petition may be closed on the ground 'for want of instructions'.
4. The submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is recorded and the Writ Petition is Closed on the ground 'for want of instructions'. No costs.
