ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to Register and investigate the complaint dated 09.08.2021 on the file of the Respondent herein to secure the ends of justice.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a dispute between the petitioner and her brother with regard to inheritance of her mother's property. The petitioner's mother passed away on 14.06.2021. Subsequently, the petitioner's brother lodged a complaint on 04.08.2021 and CSR No.968 of 2021 was assigned. On the other hand, on 07.08.2021, the petitioner gave a complaint against her brother, but, no action has been taken. The petitioner is not aware about the status of the complaint.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that earlier the petitioner's brother lodged a complaint on 04.08.2021 against the petitioner and CSR.No.968 of 2021 was assigned. At the time of conducting enquiry in the above complaint, petitioner's complaint was also enquired and closed on 07.08.2021. Both the petitioner as well as her brother gave an undertaking that they would approach the Civil Court since it is a family dispute with regard to inheritance of the property.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is not aware about the closure report of the case and if there is any such report, the same may be communicated to the petitioner.

5.In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to serve a copy of the closure report to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
