By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 1/4

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider petitioner's application No.2025/0123/18/010351 dated 08.03.2025 to survey and demark the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.133/2A3A1A situated at Vithishtapuram Village, Thittagudi village, Cuddalore District.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner purchased the land comprised in Survey No.133/2A3A1A measuring an extent of 7848 sq.feet situated at Vithishtapuram Village, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District vide registered sale deed dated 10.11.2021 registered as Document No.1489 of 2021. Petitioner has also obtained patta in his name in respect of the subject land. The petitioner has submitted an online application on 08.03.2025 requesting the respondents to conduct survey demarcate boundaries in respect of the subject land, he has also paid the appropriate fees for the same. It is the case of the petitioner that the application has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence this writ petition.
4. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents that the application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed after 2/4
affording the petitioner and other interested parties a reasonable opportunity of hearing within the time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was readily accepted by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appropriate respondent to consider the application on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and any other interested persons/stake holders, including rival claimants, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the matter and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
