ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 not to mutate the revenue records pertaining to the property comprised in S.Nos.64/7 and (62/3B1, 62/1A and 62/3A), situated at Alathur Village, Tittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District in favour of any third party pending disposal of the suit in O.S. No.65/2023 on the file of the Sub Court, Perambalur.

3. To a pointed question as to whether any representation has been made, learned counsel for petitioner would submit that no representation has been made.

4. It is trite that for a writ of mandamus to lie, a representation ought to have been made.

5. At this juncture, learned counsel for petitioner would submit that they may be granted liberty to submit a representation. 2/4

6. Writ petition stands disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to redress their grievance in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
