(Order of the Court made by M.DURAISWAMY, ACJ) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition as a Public Interest Litigation to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to change the TASMAC shop in the place of A.Kiliyanoor Village, Elamagaloor Panchayat ,Kuthalam Taluk, Mailaduthruai District pursuant to the representation dated 14.09.2021.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents 1 and 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent has forwarded his recommendation for opening of a TASMAC shop, however, the 1st respondent has not passed any order sofar. Further, the learned Government Pleader submitted that the 1st respondent would pass the order on the recommendation of the 2nd respondent, within a period of four weeks.

3. Mr.P.Muthamizh Selvakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in view of the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition may be closed.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the 1st respondent is yet to pass an order on the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent, we direct the 1st respondent to pass an order on the recommendation of the 2nd respondent, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
