The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent-Police to de-freeze the savings Bank account of the petitioner bearing A/c.No.522300240 maintained in Indian Bank, Chengam Branch, Tiruvannamalai.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by one Sugunan S., the respondent-Police, registered a case in Crime No.576 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 275, 123 and 24(1) of BNS, 2023 against the petitioner, and after due investigation they freezed the account of the petitioner. He further submitted that now, the investigation in Crime No.576 of 2024 is over and charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Chengam and the same was taken on file in S.T.C.No.475 of 2025.

3. Recording the above submission, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the trial Court in pending charge sheet.
