ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the FIR in Crime No.326 of 2020 from the file of the respondent to CBCID or to any other investigating agency. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent Police instead of conducting investigation and filing final report, is dragging the investigation by getting various other financial transactions taken place between the petitioner and the accused, which are not relevant and fact in issue in this case. Hence, the petitioner has filed a direction petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2253 of 2021 to complete the investigation, in which this Court, by order, 09.02.2021 directed the respondent Police to file a final report within a period of three months and thereafter to, no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed a contempt petition before this Court in C.P.No.1135 of 2021 and this Court, by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

order, dated 24.09.2021 directed the respondent Police to file a compliance report.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.326 of 2020 completed and charge sheet filed before the learned Special Judge, Special Court for CB-CID, Egmore, Chennai and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.8063 of 2021 and summons were served to the accused and the petitioner for their appearance on 17.11.2021.

4.It is seen that since the investigation in Crime No.326 of 2020 has been completed and charge sheet has been filed before the concerned Court, the prayer sought for by the petitioner becomes infructuous and this petition is liable to be closed and, is closed.
