This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 05.10.2021.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint in respect of corruption practice by one Mr.K.P.Anbazhagan. However, the respondent have not registered any case against him.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the information collected, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Dharmapuri had already registered a case against Mr.K.P.Anbazhagan and his family members under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 in F.I.R.No.03/AC/2022, dated 19.01.2022. He would further submit that the petitioner will also be included as a witness in that case.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
