Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue application for educational loan based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2015 to the petitioner and further direct to sanction educational loan for a sum of Rs.2,10,000/- to the petitioner.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue application for educational loan based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2015 to the petitioner and further direct to sanction educational loan for a sum of Rs.2,10,000/- to the petitioner.

2. On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.S.Sethuraman, learned counsel for the 1st respondent Bank, submitted that they are processing the petitioner's application for educational loan and the same would be sanctioned in accordance with IBA norms.

3. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent bank to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for educational loan, if papers are in order and dispose of the same, in accordance with IBA Norms, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
