The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to call for the records of the first respondent order in proceedings No.DC5/ 11925/2005, dated 17.06.2008 and quash the same as illegal and direct the first respondent to reinstate the petitioner as Work Assistant with continuity of service and with monitory benefits.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 20.06.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner and the matter was directed to be listed on 26.06.2018. Even, on that day also none appeared for the petitioner. Hence, to give an opportunity to the petitioner, the Registry was directed to list this petition under the caption 'for dismissal' on 27.06.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Today, when the matter was called in the morning, there was no representation for the petitioner as well as the respondents and therefore, the petition was passed over to 2.15 p.m. Even at that time also there was no representation for both sides. This shows that the counsels are not interested in prosecuting the case. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
