ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, by the detenu, namely, Sankar, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent, in Memo No.211/BCDFGISSSV/2016, dated 27.2.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner by name Sankar, son of Elumalai, aged 22 years now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the petitioner dated 27.02.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2224, Home, Prohibition & Excise [XIII] Department dated 18.05.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
