The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.07.2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 120(b), 458, 302 read with Section 34 of IPC in Crime No.234 of 2022, seeks bail.

2. There are totally seven accused in this case and the petitioner has been arrayed as A7. The case of the prosecution is that, on 29.06.2022, one Balasubramani was murdered by six unknown persons. Thereafter, on investigation it was came to light that, the father of the deceased person/A1 engaged other accused to murder his son. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and a false case has been lodged against the petitioner. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that, there is a proposal for detaining the petitioner under goondas act. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence committed which is serious and heinous against the deceased and also considering that there is a proposal for detaining the petitioner under goondas act, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
