ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed against the impugned judgment passed by the Principal District and Sessions Court, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, in CRL.A.No.2 of 2022 on 12.10.2023.

The brief fact of the case is that the petitioner is the husband and the respondent is the wife and their marriage was solemnized on 11.05.2014 at Odisha and thereafter, they were living at Maraimalai Nagar. During such time, they have jointly purchased an apartment by obtaining loan from PNB Housing Finance Limited. Later, due to some misunderstanding, the respondent had filed D.V.C.No.8 of 2019 before the Additional Mahila Court, Chengalpattu, and also filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.2301 of 2020 seeking for the interim orders for grant of residential order and for payment of dues in the Bank. The learned Judicial Magistrate, by an order dated 10.12.2021, had granted residential order to the respondent and directed the petitioner to pay the monthly EMI of Rs.38,493/- to the bank. Against which, the petitioner had filed a criminal appeal in Crl.A.No.2 of 2022 before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu. The 2/8
said appeal came to be dismissed on 12.10.2023. Aggrieved over the same, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed.

When the matter was listed before this Court on 24.10.2024, on the consent of both sides, this Court had referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to the High Court of Madras, Chennai. Thereby, the parties have appeared before the Mediation Centre and a settlement has been arrived at between them. Pursuant to which, the parties have filed a Settlement Agreement on 20.02.2025. As a sequel, Mediation Report dated 21.02.2025 along with the Settlement Agreement filed by the parties have been filed before this Court.
4. Learned counsel appearing for either side submitted that the matter referred for mediation has been settled and the parties have filed a Settlement Agreement and thereby, prayed that the revision may be disposed based on the Settlement Agreement.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both the petitioner and the respondent and perused the materials available on record. The scanned copy of the Settlement Agreement reads as follows :- 3/8

Taking into consideration the Settlement Agreement dated 20.02.2025 filed by both the parties and recording the submissions made by the learned counsels on both sides, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. The Settlement Agreement dated 20.02.2025 shall form part of the Court record. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs. 26-02-2025 ham To
