These petitions are filed by the petitioner(s) / appellant(s) / claimant(s) seeking to condone the delay of 589 days in filing the above Appeals.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner(s) / appellant(s). Despite serving notice on the R-2/insurance company and their name printed in the cause-list, there is no representation on behalf of them.
3. Therefore, having regard to the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of these petitions and being satisfied with the same, the delay of 589 days in filing the above Appeals are condoned subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner(s) / appellant(s) shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- each as costs to the "Tamil Nadu Legal Services Authority, Chennai" on or before 21.10.2019; and (ii) The petitioner(s) / appellant(s) are not entitled to any interest for the default period, in the event of succeeding in the Appeals, in respect of the enhanced compensation amount.
4. These petitions are ordered accordingly.
