This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the notice issued under Section 91 of Cr.P.C., by the 1st respondent police, who has directed the petitioner herein to appear for enquiry along with documents 1/4
in connection with the complaint registered in Crime No.446 of 2024 for offence under Section 408 IPC.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that without warrant from the Judicial Magistrate, the petitioner is now sought to be enquired.

This Court finds no wrong or illegality in calling the petitioner under Section 91 Cr.P.C., to produce documents and participate in the enquiry. For such purpose, warrant from the Judicial Magistrate is not required. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
