Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.379/BCDFGISSSV/2016, dated 31.03.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent under the TamilNadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's son Thiru. Raja, s/o Kaliyamurthy, aged about 33 years the detenue, now confined in the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set the petitioner's son Thiru.Raja, s/o Kaliyamurthy, aged about 33 years the detenue herein at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the mother of the detenu. The detenu has been branded as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under the order of

S.NAGAMUTHU, J., AND V.BHARATHIDASAN, J., kua the 2nd respondent passed in Memo No.379/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 31.03.2016. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 31.03.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2255, Home, Prohibition & Excise [XIII] Department dated 18.05.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
