The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.09.2021 in accordance with law, by writing off the Loan amount of the petitioner for the sum of Rs.3,90,000/- in Account No.61007910001099 in Canara Bank Thiruvallur Branch, Thiruvallur District to secure the ends of justice. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he obtained loan from the respondent Bank during the year 2015 for starting business of building centring materials and due to flood during the year 2015, the entire materials were destroyed. Hence, the petitioner made representation to the respondents to write off the loan amount and since the same was not considered, has filed this writ petition. 2/4

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.09.2021 and to pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law and as per the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, within the reasonable time fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2021 on merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law and as per the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
