consequently grant 60 days furlough, without escort, in accordance with G.O. Ms.No.82 dated 14-02-2026, to the detenue, Suresh S/o. Thirunavukkarasu, aged about 40 years, PID No.37600 (CT-6380), confined at Central Prison, Puzhal-I, within a time frame to be fixed by this Honourable Court, and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court. The prayer of the petitioner, mother of one Suresh (convict), confined in Central Prison, Puzhal - I, is for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 31.03.2026 seeking 60 days furlough in line with G.O.Ms.No.82 dated 14.02.2026.

2. Mr.C.R.Malarvannan, learned counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side), who accepts notice for the respondents, on instructions, states that the representation has been received and is under consideration of the authorities.

3. Recording the same, there is a direction to R1 to consider representation of the petitioner dated 31.03.2026 and pass orders in accordance

with the Tamil Nadu Prisons (Release on Furlough) Rules, 2026, within a period of four (4) weeks from today.
