ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.949 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused person were found in illegal possession of 1.3 kgs. of Ganja and the same was seized by the respondent police. Hence, the respondent police registered a case against the petitioner and other accused persons.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the contraband was recovered from the accused A1. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner along with other accused persons were found in illegal possession of 1.3 Kgs of Ganja and there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case and since there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
