ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under section 376,420 IPC, in Crime No.18 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant loved each other. It is alleged that the petitioner was involved in sexual intercourse with the defacto complainant several times. Thereby the defacto complainant became pregnant. It is further alleged that the petitioner insisted the defacto complainant to abort the fetus and thereby refused to marry her. Based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, the respondent police registered a case against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is no way connected with the occurrence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner has not co-operated with the investigation. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
