ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Thiru Karikalan son of Thirunavukkarasu, aged 43 years. The detenu has been branded as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under the order of the 2nd respondent passed in Memo No.377/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 31.03.2016.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 31.03.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2253, Home, Prohibition & Excise [XIII] Department dated 18.05.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
