PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records and quash the FIR proceedings in Crime No.319/2016 pending investigation on the file of Inspector of Police,Arumbavoor Police Station and Perambalur District.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.319 of 2016, pending on the file of the respondent Police.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and a Final Report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur on 21.11.2016, and the same has not been taken on file.

3. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the FIR at this stage and it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the Final Report, if so advised.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur, immediately to take the Final Report in Cr.No.319/2016, on file and proceed further in accordance with law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
