Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.356/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 29.03.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's husband Sathish @ Sathish Kumar s/o Anilraj aged about 27 years the detenue, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set the petitioner's husband Sathish @ Sathish Kumar s/o.Anilraj aged about 27 years, the detenu herein at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Sathish @ Sathish Kumar s/o.Anilraj aged about 27 years. The detenu has been branded as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under the order of the 2nd respondent passed in Memo No.356/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 29.03.2016.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 29.03.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2250, Home, Prohibition & Excise [XIII] Department dated 18.05.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
