Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the proposal sent by the 5th respondent dated 13.09.2023 to the 3rd and 4th respondents and grant approval of the petitioner's appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher (Tamil - RLT) in the 5th respondent's Minority Aided School.

O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the proposal sent by the 5th respondent dated 13.09.2023 to the 3rd and 4th respondents and grant approval of the petitioner's appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher (Tamil - RLT) in the 5th respondent's Minority Aided School.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed in the 5th respondent minority institutions as a Tamil 2/5

Teacher (RLT) on 02.09.2023. Immediately after appointment, the 5th respondent forwarded the proposal for approval of the 3rd respondent on 13.09.2023, such proposal is still pending with the 3rd respondent. Hence this writ petition.

3. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would fairly submit that the 3rd respondent is the competent authority and they would consider the same within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the proposal forwarded by the 5th respondent and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
