O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to pay interest for the belated payment of provident fund, gratuity, encashment of earned leave, surrender leave and commuted value of pension at the rate of 2% per annum, within a specified time as may be fixed by this Court. 2/5

2. Mr. M.Murali Vinoth, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the first and second respondents and Mr. C.S.K.Sathish, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the third respondent. They would submit that the eligible amount will be paid to the petitioner within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to pay interest on the belated payment of provident fund, gratuity, encashment of earned leave, surrender leave and commuted value of pension at the rate of 2% per annum, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
