Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to forthwith re-value the petitioner's answer sheet in respect of the Biology Paper in the Higher Secondary Examinations held in March 2016 under Examination Roll No.373343 and award one additional mark. Admittedly, the petitioner did not apply for revaluation of Biology paper in terms of the relevant regulations and at the belated point of time, has came forward with this writ petition.

2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate (Education) appearing for the respondents.

3. This Court, upon hearing the rival submissions, is of the view that in the light of non availing the benefit afforded to the petitioner in the form of revaluation, he is not entitled to get any orders at this belated point of time. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
