The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 318 (4) & 319(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) (419 & 420 of IPC) read with Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the Information and Technologies Act, 2008, in Crime No. 0327 of 2024 on the file of the respondents police seek inter state anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant received phone calls from two unknown numbers. The callers claimed to be from the 'Predex Department' and the 'Cyber Department', respectively. They alleged that a parcel addressed to the complainant contained illegal items, including passports, drugs, and ATM cards. The second caller, who identified himself as an IPS Officer from the Cyber Department, claimed that the complainant was involved in money laundering and drug trafficking. An FIR was allegedly registered, and the complainant was instructed to transfer Rs.42,58,000/- to various bank accounts. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that no previous case is pending against them and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prayed for grant of inter state anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioners' account was involved in fraudulent transactions from the complainant's account. Therefore, he vehemently opposed the grant of interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners have to takes steps for bail and they have to go to Karnataka, this Court is inclined to grant inter-state interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners for a period of one month to enable them to move the concerned Court.

6.Accordingly, interim inter-state anticipatory bail is granted to the 2/4

petitioners for a period of one month, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the Judicial Magistrate No.2, Poonamalle Court within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy is made ready and the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within two weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioners shall approach the competent Court and seek appropriate relief.
