ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the father of the detenue, by name, Saranya, aged about 22 years. It is alleged that she has been found missing from 13.08.2015 onwards.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there is no illegal detention which is revealed from the enquiry. He would further submit that she has eloped with the 3rd respondent with whom she had a love affair. 3.

The learned Counsel for the respondents 4 to 8 would submit that on an earlier occasion also, the detenue eloped with the 3rd respondent and on the complaint of the father of the 3rd respondent, the girl was secured and handed over to her parents. Again, now she has eloped with the 3rd respondent. The said statement is recorded.

Having regard to the statement made by the learned Counsel for the respondents 4 to 8 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, we are of the view that there is no illegal detention and therefore, this petition deserves only to be dismissed as no relief could be granted. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
