Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to dispose of the representation made on 06.07.2024 by the petitioner. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation made on 06.07.2024 by the petitioner

2. The case of the petitioner is that the the petitioner's father and husband was a freedom fighters. The petitioner's grand daughter N.Himavarsha seeking for MBBS seat which were reserved for freedom fighter grand daughter. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 06.07.2024, Till date, the respondents have not considered the same and hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition before this Court seeking appropriate remedy.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated

06.07.2024 and pass orders within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation dated 06.07.2024 made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from today.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 12.08.2024
