ORDER

The petitioner who claims to be the founding president of a political property by name Mannin Maidhargal Kazhagam and Elatchiya Sirubhanmai Makkal Nala Sangam seeks Personal Security Officer for his protection on the premises that there is a serious threat from unknown political rivals.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side)has filed status report wherein he has stated that two C.S.R.s came to be registered on complaint given by this petitioner. Later on enquiry, it was found to be false. The enquiry in the locality and information gathered reveals that there is no threat to the petitioner life and movement. There is no necessity for providing any Personal Security Officer.

3. Recording the said statement, the petition seeking exclusive Personal Security Officers to the petitioner herein is dismissed. No costs. The dismissal of this petition shall not stand in the way of the police if in future any adverse incident is brought to the notice to take appropriate 2/4

action to protect the petitioner. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
