The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406 & 420 of I.P.C, in Crime No. Not known of 2022, seek anticipatory bail. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that FIR has been registered against the petitioners in crime No.2 of 2022. 3.The learned Counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty to file a fresh petition by mentioning the crime number. He also seeks interim protection to the petitioners from arrest by the respondent / Police.

4. Considering the above, the petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh petition mentioning the crime number and the respondent / Police is directed not to take any coercive steps to arrest the petitioners for a period of two weeks from today.
