ORDER

This petition is filed to call for records relating to the Crime No.317 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent police and to quash the same.

2.Heard both sides.

3.At the time of admission, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for a direction to the first respondent police to file a final report within the time as stipulated by this Court.

4.Considering the submissions made on both sides, a case has been registered against the petitioner for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 354A(1) IPC read with Section 9(f) and 10 of POCSO Act, 2012, in Crime No.317 of 2015, on 29.06.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The complaint has been lodged by the mother of the victim girl, who is a student and the petitioner is the teacher. Hence, the first respondent police is directed to investigate the matter as expeditiously as possible and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
