Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the check slip No.4, dated 28.3.2013 of the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent herein to receive and register the Release Deed executed by the petitioners 1 to 4 herein in favour of the petitioners 5 to 8 in respect of the properties covered in Kovilpathagai Village, Ambattur Taluk, under patta No.245 and 304.

Heard Mr.A.Ramkumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

2. The petitioners have come forward with this writ petition for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to quash the check slip No.4, dated 28.3.2013 issued by the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that the release deed presented by the petitioners was not registered by the second respondent.

4. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the second respondent had already registered the release deed in the month of March,2018 and the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

5. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
