Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS directing the respondents to produce the corpus of Radhika, D/o.Narayana Chettiar, aged about 17 years before this Court and set her at liberty and consequently order to take her custody by the petitioner herein.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the mother of the detenue Radhika, aged about 17 years. On the allegation that her daughter Radhika has been found missing from 18.03.2015, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

Today, when the matter is taken up, the petitioner made appearance. The 2nd respondent has produced the detenue Radhika.

On enquiry, the detenue Radhika would submit that her date of birth is 15.05.1998 and as of now, she has completed 18 years of age. She would further submit that she married one Perumal with whom she has been living. She has also submitted that now she is six months pregnant. Therefore, she wants to go only with her husband.

In view of the said statement made by the detenue and since we are convinced that there is no illegal detention, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
