Prayer in W.P.No.22844 of 2023 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 20.07.2023 seeking permission and to grant Police protection for conducting Kalaividum Thiruvizha in event of the temple festival of Sri Sirupathamman Koil situate at Sirumur village, Arni taluk, Tiruvannamalai district scheduled to be held on 13.08.2023.

2. Heard M/s.Kanimozhi Sundar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

The issue involved in these Writ Petitions was already considered by this Court in an earlier Writ Petition in W.P.No.19656 of 2023 and an order was passed on 06.07.2023 issuing certain directions to the District Collector of Tiruvannamalai district. The same order will cover the issue that is involved in the present Writ Petitions also.
